Welcome to the 87th Medical Group Laboratory and Radiology Services page. We are dedicated to providing accurate and timely diagnostic testing to support your healthcare needs.
Laboratory Services
The 87th MDG Laboratory offers a range of diagnostic testing services to include chemistry analysis, hematology, and urinalysis testing. We can also collect blood, urine and other body fluid samples for a limited range of testing outside of our scope. These samples are sent to reference laboratories. For this reason, please allow up to 10-14 business days for reference labs to be completed.
Radiology Services
The 87th MDG Radiology Clinic provides General Radiography (x-rays). All other imaging modalities are referred to outside facilities.
Important Information
- Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Closures: Please note that the Laboratory and Radiology Services are closed on all observed federal holidays and are partially open (7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) during AMC family days. We are closed once a quarter on the first Thursday of the month for training.
- Appointment Scheduling: While walk-ins are accepted, we highly encourage you to schedule an appointment online to minimize wait times, especially during peak hours. Wait times without an appointment can extend to an hour or more. To schedule an online appointment, visit appointment scheduling website,
- Lab and Radiology Order: For all applicable patients, please ensure your provider has entered your orders in GENESIS, or if you were seen off base, have a signed physical copy of your doctor's order/prescription for the requested labs or x-ray exams before visiting the Laboratory or Radiology Department. Release forms are provided upon request. Please understand that without doctor's orders or a physical signed copy, we cannot provide services.

The 87th Medical Group Laboratory and Radiology Departments are committed to providing you withe excellent service and timely results. If you have any questions regarding your results, please contact your primary care provider.
Viewing results
We highly encourage you to contact your medical provider if you have questions regarding any laboratory or radiological diagnostic results. You may also view your diagnostic results using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal! Simply go to the
MHS GENESIS site, and log in using your Common Access Card. If you do not have a common Access Card, you may have to create a new DS Logon account. Once logged in, you may access your lab results under the Health Record>Results and Measurements.
Readiness Requirements
The laboratory can happily assist anyone who is deploying, returning from deployment or in need of medical readiness requirements in your IMR/Med Pros. You may make an appointment on
MHS GENESIS. We also accept walk-ins.
