The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit www.tricare.mil/shutdown

Family Advocacy

We help build healthier families and create more resilient and responsive communities. Our programs center upon prevention and outreach, treatment and victim advocacy. We have a New Parent Support Program, which is voluntary for expectant parents and families with children under the age of 3. The program includes home visitation services as needed with a Registered Nurse. Family Advocacy Strength-Based Therapy, or FAST, is another voluntary program for individuals, couples and families. FAST provides brief, short term therapy and/or supportive interventions focused on agreed upon goals and objectives. Outreach services are offered through life-skills classes in parenting, relationship enhancement, emotion regulation and resiliency boosting. Treatment services are offered for individuals, couples and families who have experienced maltreatment or domestic violence. Victim advocacy is a program that offers victims of intimate partner violence supportive services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
